Don't Get Rid of Live Musicians on Dancing With the Stars

Nothing compliments the performance of live dancers better than live music. Without it this is just a "dancing to the hits" show. I will boycott that!

As a young musician, starting out in the industry, it is very worrying to see that job opportunities are being removed from these marvelously experienced musicians; where does that leave us up and coming musicians????

Please don't replace the DWTS BAND. You just fired Jay Leno. Young people don't pay attention to your channel. People my age do 60 and not interested In Juvenile Jimmy Fallon.

I greatly respected DWTS for having a live orchestra for a show during primetime. Since hearing the news of the Harold Wheeler orchestra being fired and replaced by records and small electronic ensemble, I am appalled and can no longer watch DWTS. The live band gave the show artistic integrity, something this pop culture desperately needs to retain. I hope you will consider employing the live orchestra again. Letting them go is a huge mistake.

Given the huge amount of money that this show makes, it should definitely be doing all it can to support the arts. The show itself is a testament to how beautiful the arts are. It draws attention to our capacity to learn to dance by celebrity example.

These are some of the most talented and hard working people in the business. Please do not take their jobs away! Real musicians make people dance, not canned recordings. Keep the DWTS Orchestra!

These musicians are professionals that have a unique craft. They shouldn't be thrown away like old cassette tapes. Live music is magical, recordings are lame.
