He's a beautiful well-behaved dog. It's your fault, however unintentional, that he's in this position so now do the right thing and don't evict him.

Dobby's a well behaved dog who lives on the same floor as me, but never disturbs me.
It feels unfair to ask his owners to 'rehome' him when they went through a permissions process in good faith before getting him.
The misunderstanding about permissions is not their fault, and Dobby has never been difficult to live alongside. It seems cruel and unnecessary to ask him to leave.
