DON'T ERASE WOMEN-Open Letter to the Greek Parliament and Citizens of Greece on "Gender Identity" Proposed Legislation

Please consider the implications of this law carefully. Much damage is being done elsewhere in the world.

It is impossible for a man to know what it feels like to be a woman. Under the surface nothing will be different whatever is changed on the surface.

Look to the women of Greece. See their need for shelters for abused women which in the US and Canada, trans men to women have disrupted, not because they needed the services but because they wanted in on something closed to men to protect abused women. You have seen how the US is going down the drain on all kind of rights. Do not let this happen to the women of Greece.

I am a trans person living in the US. I think legislation like this is dangerous to everyone living in the global community. While I understand wanting to affirm trans people (thank you!), I believe legislation like this is problematic and has the net effect of undermining trans folks.

Transgenderism is a social meme that threatens the health and well-being of women and children. It isn't based on scientific fact or sound psychological evaluation, but is being driven by an aggressive campaign that aims to silence its critics with accusations of prejudice and discrimination, which is untrue.

The full petition shows clearly how this would harm women. Given this, a better way is needed.

The real-life ramifications of such legislation are huge. It is not simply about supporting the individual, as well-intentioned people might assume.

Do NOT erase women!
