If you are given six weeks to do a project, and then you wait until the last week or two to start it, you do not have the right to complain about how you didn't have enough time to do it.
Before you say "I have responsibilities outside of this class," refactoring this project should not have taken (as an extremely conservative estimate) more than twelve group-hours to do, which is two hours per week if done by yourself. If you cannot spare two hours per week for a 3-credit-hour class, you should not have signed up for it.
We all have responsibilities. We all have classes. We all have problems. That is not an excuse for being unable to complete the work you signed up to do.
Don't drop PA4. Don't drop the soap.
