Don't Cut Our Lifeline! WV

I challenge the people reviewing this to go talk to the families and individuals that these cuts will effect. We are not just a number, we are not getting rich off this program, we are struggling people who are trying to make it through a crazy world that doesn't understand us. If you want to cut programs why not cut welfare, congressional and senate pay grades (see if they can live on $8.00 per hour for 42 hours a week when we actually work 24/7. Tell the big people making poor decisions about tis program and others that effect persons with disabilities and their families, have these people look at themselves to see where they should make cuts in their own lives instead of cutting the services of people who depend on those services.

Of all the programs out there for people this program by far is one of most beneficial programs for people with disabilities! I CHALLENGE the people purposing to cut the Wavier Program to go out and work on the field as a Staff Member. I CHALLENGE those people purposing the wavier cuts to get out from behind their desks and papers to go see what the wavier program is about FIRST HAND and how it really helps those who need the wavier program!!! The first hand experience would be eye opening more than just reading and thumbing through papers.

Please do not take any funding away. They really deserve a lot more!

Waiver services make a big difference in the life of the individual as well as their families. Plus they have a multiplier economic and social impact on life of many others. Please don't cut these critical survival benefits, they dont have much to start with. Thank you

Waiver services are very crucial for many families. I am fortunate that my son's needs have not risen to the level to require these services but I have plenty of friends whose children's needs do. Please don't cut their lifelines! These incredible people have overcome so many obstacles daily we need to get them the services they deserve!

This is making our life much more difficult. We were seeing progress, but now with the lower than last years budget we are getting....it feels hopeless.

I would like to see family members of disabled children kept in the work force to prevent them having to leave their jobs to have to take care of their child with disability.

Cutting waiver would be incredibly detrimental to the quality of care given to many residents of WV.

Please let them keep it..

I am a high school teacher and see the impact this has on the students who graduate. These are students who cannot advocate for themselves and need this support.

I dont think you realize the negative impact these cuts will have on some of our most vulnerable citizens.. May God help us all !!

Cut ppl off assistance that's able to work and let these kids keep the help they need.
