I worked at Colin Anderson Center and for Northwood Health Systems. Then I went to DHHR so I know every aspect of the Waiver programs for MR/DD individuals. There are many more places to stop stupid spending in government. Don't cut the Waiver for these people or for the Elderly.

I have a family member who is disabled and I also work with several children who receive serviced through this support. These children need this support.

You cannot ignore the ADA. Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities need the system to be easily accessible and appropriately funded. In reading this article, it appears that there was a lack of responsibility in doing the job of petitioning for additional funds, when it was needed. The Waiver Program is absolutely vital to those citizens of West Virginia. This needs to be appropriately funded, and program administrators that request additional funding to the right office at the right time.

had travel time and respite cut and daughters speech, ot and pt cut to one half hour each to every two hours to every other week
