I have worked in LTC for 33 yes and the elderly are forgotten and left behind when it comes to medicaid and medicare cuts. It is our responsibility to care for them.

I have worked in long term care for 15 years and the elderly are the most underserved and left unattended to. They are not to be forgotten and thrower out because they are old and poor. We have to take care of them!

Don't punish our nursing home residents. Cut the fat elsewhere in the budget. If you can't find any place to cut, I'm sure I can.

This cut would shut down the facility I work for and leave the almost 300 residents who live here with no where to go.

For some reason the government hasn't realized how bad the economy is. We have starving families on the streets of our suppose to be great nation. We have people coming over in boats that get more from the government then there own citizens. Helping other countries get out of poverty when ourselves are in danger of poverty. Cutting anything away from the American people is just stupid. Especially the elderly or the kids of this nation. The government doesn't need any more raises for themselves. We don't need to send all our jobs away for more money. We don't need to try and help others before us. One of these days they will finally realize that you can't eat money. The government needs to change there way of thinking not the people. Now your wanting to take away from those who fought for this country so u can have a life of freedom. DO NOT CUT MEDICAID.
