Please don't close this centre. It is part of the "Old Kennington" community. Another part of south London that needs to stay. I will come and cook there again.

This is a restaurant that I frequently come to not only due to the amazing food but because of the wonderful friendly atmosphere. It would be a great loss if it closes

We used to live around the corner from the cafe. It is truly a beacon of hope and community in a world gone mad. Please don't close it.

I've had wonderful meals at the Bonnington Cafe which is clearly loved by its community. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

This cafe is a beautiful example of a cooperative and a thriving business. It is one of a kind, to close it would be to utterly misunderstand the importance of community.

I used to work here over a period of time. I absolutely love the place and would be gutted to see it closing down.

Just regret that I signed petition. Hear that the scare of 'corporate' takeover is a smoke screen for a few people who to monopolies the kitchen and now allow locals to have a space. It is not corporate takeover, but greedy outsiders who sit on the money. The move on the monopoly is not to close cafe, but to be more inclusive and to make it even better.

I ate there every time I went to the music club upstairs run by the Bohman Brothers. I got the impression that no-one working in the café had the slightest interest on the amazing music being played weekly upstairs. However, at its best, the café is great.

This is a vital community project - and the food is delicious. These unique and enriching elements of London must be saved.
