The Bonnington Centre and Bonnington Cafe are a precious gem, not only for the people who use it but also for the chefs that have been cooking here for many years. It is a testimony of co-operativism and equality at it's best. I have been a regular at the Cafe and I love their food and service.
It seems to me that there are hiden interest from the people who want to close this wonderful place.
It is unacceptable that a few people with vested interest want to close Bonnington Centre and Bonnington Cafe, without even considering the lives that depend on the alternative business, the people that frequent the restaurant and the residents of Bonnington Square. Bonningto Cafe's chefs and all the other activities that happen there have my total support.

It's shocking that new members of your management committee are trying to commandeer this incredibly valuable, precious community resource. It has been a joyful presence in Bonnington Square for as long as I can remember, and the idea that newly-arrived members have so much sway that they could force its closure is just extraordinary. I totally support your campaign to keep it open - and to retain its essence which is that of a hugely important feature of the local community.

Cultural centres such as these are what make London unique, beautiful, inspiring and desirable to live and work in. Surely those of us with responsibility to make such decisions should refrain from condemning communities to a faceless, homogenised future in the name of lucrative gain - such as we see on so many of our high streets. Keep London's secret gems open, looked after, defended and cared for.

I love the place. I used to be there often when I lived around. I still visit it with friends occasionally. It would be a great loss for the local community if it was closed.

I used to live nearby and loved this place. I still visit occasionally. It is a crucial part of the London community in this area - an area where community cohesion is already under threat from massive, large-scale development. The cafe and community centre is an extremely important part of the locality. It is critical that this community facility is not closed down.
