I’m the Vicar of the parish in which The Bonnington Cafe is located, and believe it is one of the great assets of this community. With its history rooted in a counter-cultural community, The Bonnington continues to push against a tide of homogenised and corporate consumerism and offers local residents a real community space. With the massive regeneration of the local area that will become increasingly necessary. I don’t know what challenges The Bonnington is facing at the moment, but am happy to offer support if there’s anything I can do.

It should be made into a historical tourist attraction (like serendipity in NYC), not necessary to close it down. It can hold it's own.
