This is such an important local amenity and part of London's rapidly disappearing history.

Please don’t close this fantastic cafe. It’s a true gem in a world that is becoming ever more bland and uniform.

This is such a special place - I celebrated my 30th birthday here with a group of 16 friends, and the staff were so kind and so generous to us. It would be a real loss if it is closed down or if its spirit and ethos is lost

I have been a regular user (and occasional worker in my youth) at the Bonnington cafe and centre since the late 1980's. It has stayed true to its community and inclusive spirit for a few decades and it would be a shame and a crime if it ceased to exist and serve a wide ranging ( in terms of culture, class, interest) local community. I must admit that I do not really understand why it is threatened since it has been so successful and operating so well for so long, having become a shining exemple of a successful community enterprise levied by so many in London and elsewhere. I sincerely hope it is not due to the greed of a few.

Whilst I don't have first-hand knowledge of the issues the café faces, anything which threatens the closure of this fabulous community venture is clearly not in the community interest. Long may the Bonnington Café survive as a unique beacon of success in Vauxhall.

I work for a homeless charity called Thames Reach and have relied on the Bonnington Café for taking residents out for coffee, for film nights, for work conferences etc.. The café is a huge and integral part of Vauxhall. It would be a travesty if it were closed down.

It is precisely this sort of business that signposts the future. No more dreary chains. Improve it if possible but don't destroy it.
