There is already very limited buses serving the bus stop outside Foresque Residences. Bus 700 is necessary for residences in this area to go to town, especially for those working in Suntec/Marina/Raffles place area.

please keep bus service 700 and 700A, i stay in bukit panjang and use this service to go to town. it will take a much longer time if i were to take the new suggested route (bus 973, downtown line and change to ns line) by smrt + the inconvenience of having to transfer so many times.

It’s ridiculous to remove this precious bus service! It’s help a lot of residents along Petir road to commute to town area! 973 to DTL and still need to change to red line! 30 mins ride substitute by an hr+ ride!

We as resident need this 700 service to work. Already there is very limited buses plying along this route. Before 700 bus service is even cancelled, did SMRT even survey the residents route pattern!! I am very disappointed with this sudden and short notice to remove 700 service. After the removal, is there any replacement of bus service? What is the arrangement? Will SMART increase the frequency of 973 bus service to 3min nstead of every 15 mim.!!!. 700 is removed and no new bus service plying Petir Road except 973 and 966. This is ridiculous!!!.

700 is a very useful route and we cannot always depend on MRT for a faster travel as in the case where the MRT system breaks down, there is still and alternative route to travel from Bukit Panjang area to and from the CBD area.
