Don't Cancel SMRT Bus 700!

This Bus Service 700 is very useful for transporting residents of Chestnut Avenue and a considerable stretch of residents of Petir Rd directly to Orchard Rd. I do not support the abolishment of this service. Please allow Bus Service 700 to continue.

I use bus 700 almost every day!

Please do not remove 700 and make going down town a hassle of taking bus to hillview MRT to switch trains. My kids always take 700 from steven and its very direct and fast. Please spare a thought for the resident and not always think of profit first for public service

This is d best and most popular bus service from Petir Road to downtown, why cancel?

Connectivity should improve with time but for Petir/Dairy Farm residents, ironically our connectivity deteriorates with time. Please retain our only connectivity to town. Thank you

I think it is rather abrupt to just discontinue a bus service that has been serving the residents in Pending, Petir, Cashew and Chestnut for such a long time. Bus 700 has provided alot of convenience to the residents. On top of that, Petir has a lot of aging population, please consider the elderly who have to walk longer distance to the other side of the bus stop and having to switch buses to their destination.

This bus has been around serving residents for years and is the only direct bus service to orchard and common mrt interchange like newton and dhoby gaut. Taking the feeder service 973 to Hillview mrt as suggested by smrt takes longer distance and time.

We hv the only bus 700 to go downtown, it's not like we hv a few choices. It's the one and only

Please resume bus 700. It’s very convenient for us - one straight bus to travel to town/central, much faster than taking bus to Hillview MRT station, squeezing with the crowd to newton MRT and changing lines again.

removing 700 reduces the residents to just Hillview mrt as the option to head home. it will cause massive crowding in 973 too. not wise or sensible

Please don't cancel Bus 700. This will increase our risk, cost and travelling time. And miss the dinner time with our family.

Please be more rational when you plan the route and cancel bus services . This area in petir doesn’t have many bus choices to start of with. And with the expressway by the side it helps the residents here to commute to The Central and town area for work daily.

I really need this bus for going to tuition and school even if we use the downtown line we will have to change train a few times pls don’t do such stupid things like cancelling the 700 bus

To the people who planned this but never took this service before: 1. The DTL is already overcrowded during peak hours. 2. In light of COVID-19, health is a priority and squeezing more people along 190 or DTL to cut costs will end up as a cost in a different form. PS: The rerouting of 972 to an insanely jammed road only forces people to crowd 190 (Which defeats the purpose of 972 Ref: 2014) or take 971E and pay $1.20 more per round trip. Public Transport is supposed to connect people to places, and not used as a profit making machine. TLDR: y'all don't 700
