This is soooooo inconvenient. I live at Dairy Farm and service 700/700A runs directly and very quickly from my place to Orchard and Esplanade. It only takes about 20 minutes and it is less crowded given the social distancing we are practising now. Very selfish of LTA to withdraw these services without thinking of the sentiment of the commuters.

972 route changes make us very inconvenient specially going to work at orchard area. Please consider to maintain the orignal route for 972.

The charter of providing public bus is to serve citizens, not for profits. To what o know, bus 700 has been operational for a long time before I moved here at Petir Road. Moreover there are many residents here at Petir Road needing this bus service to interchange for red line MRT services at Newton. Many school children are also taking them to schools along Dunearn area. Hence bus 700 should be continued as we only have 3 buses at Petir Road namely 700, 966 and 973. Moreover now this stretch of Petir Road has got alot more residents than before given new condo developments here including German School resided here. Hope the authority can consider continuation of bus 700. Thank you.

Relying only on the MRT especially in this infectious disease period is not sensible. Commuters should be given choices to commute to avoid overcrowding.
