Service 700/700A, which is currently operated by SMRT Buses Ltd, will be withdrawn from 16 August 2020. As we all know 700 isn't a new route, it's served residents along the route for years, everyone's used to snoring from one end to the other and I'm sure nobody will want to change buses which will cause long term problems such as more buses on the roads and more overcrowded bus stops. This will cause residents in Pending, Petir, Chestnut and Cashew to lose their fast and hassle-free link to the city. With the government controlling the bus services nowadays, we should expect better services, and not a link taken away from us residents! Residents who use bus 700/700A, please support our petition so that 700/700A will not be cancelled!
