This petition's justification is to show support for the beloved orchestra director Ms. Mary Alice McCann. We want Ms. McCann to return to the High School as the conductor of the Honors Chamber Orchestra and the Symphonic Orchestra. She has created an award winning string system throughout the six through twelve grades and we want her to remain in that position to maintain and increase the level of musical excellence in our school system. Ms. McCann is very valuable to this school system and it is critical that she is not removed.
