Any pet is a product of how they are raised. That includes pitbulls.

I had never owned a pit until about 2 years ago, but I wouldn't change her for anything. One night my boyfriend had to work really late and someone tried to get in our house. Not realizing that I had a big dog is why they tried I guess, but she wasn't about to let her voice be unheard...she tried to go thru my front door to get the person and protect me and my 4lb chihuahua. Thank God she was her. At the time I weighed about 108 lbs and she felt my nervousness. I am also planning to have her turned into my service dog for my anxiety, depression and adhd. She knows when I am having a good or bad day...I am thankful for my Sassy pit

My family including myself are proud owners of this beautiful breed , my brothers each have Pitts and they are the most loving dogs and I have a rottie and this is my second one and he's absolute the most loving gentle giant

I have 2 pitbulls and all though they have a bad rep they are actually really good dogs and they shouldn't be treated any different

Don't judge an entire breed by a select few that were not bred, raised and trained properly!

Since I was young all we've ever had were pit bulls (except for a shih tzu) all have been nothing loving, sweet, loyal and caring companions.. I will continue to own Pits along with any other breed that's normally on any "restricted breed" list.
Don't blame the pet for the irresponsible owners mistake.

Am a proud owner of a rescued pit and he is the most amazing & intelligent dog I've ever had. Bad people can make any dog mean. Ban bad people and leave the dogs alone!

I just recently had to put down my beautiful pit bull. She was my best friend for over 13 years, the best dog I ever had, not to mention part of the family. R.I.P. baby girl.

Pit Bulls are my favorite breed of dogs. If only people would realize that it all depends on how an dog OF ANY BREED is raised that determines how they turn out to be as adults, then we would all be in a much better position.

I'm from Ontario. I think this is wrong. Any dog is capable of what you teach them. Look into dog psychology and stop being ignorant!
