Apart from the the upset to the general public why would tourists want to keep visiting a country that can't keep a proper public transport facility..not every person likes travelling on an over crowded bus that's usually running late

That is one of the most beautiful train journeys in Ireland. It could be a huge tourist attraction if the imagination and effort was applyed.

Ireland doesn't have a public transport system anymore and faster electric trains on a extended network of rails would ensure a decent public transport service for the 21st century.

This is an essential piece of infrastructure if we are to attract tourists from the UK, especially as Failte Ireland is highlighting the Ancient East in its marketing. A bit of joined up thinking would be good.

Adopt a Rail and Sail Ticket with a Rambler option so passengers can stop off at the towns en-route and explore them for a few hours or even a day or two. I think it would be win,win all around.

My only means of transport during the summer lower the amount of carriages on given days as at weekends trains are full fantastic service

I use this train regularly to get ro work in dublin. It allows me start work early and get home earlier than if i was driving. Please improve the service and not destroy it.

The train link to Dublin from Rosslare Harbour is very important to the people of County Wexford. It MUST be kept.
