Don't axe the Wexford (Gorey-Rosslare) train- save and improve it instead!

Needs to be improved wait till Brezit happens. Between Bus eireann and Irish rail they have cut off the harbour and it could be a gold mine if run properly. Rural Ireland suffering once again.

This country is going backwards instead of forward. We need more lines not less.

Save it. Figure ot out. Don't just give up.

Please do not take away the rosslare train service, it is a vital, for early morning workers, young ones going into wexford town and traveling up to ports for ferries, as a rosslare resident I do not wish our train service to be stopped, we all ready had Waterford train stopped, and not enough bus services to get to Waterford,

Is this for real!!!

There are many ways to make that line work and become profitable. Closing it is not one of those ways .

Be such a shame to lose yet another train service. If was more cost effective and more convenient maybe more people would use it.

This is a vital transport system, in an area which is already chronically under serviced. Please upgrade the existing train network and invest in it, don't scrap it!

We need this line kept open

The closure of the wexford line would be a huge loss to Rosslare , and would only further isolate the elderly, and passengers with severe disabilities.

To close it would be an awful shame and difficult to reverse. Improve it, start by making times come nude with, at least some, Rosslare ferries.

We need this service more than ever if we want to promote the area for tourism and employment. Not everyone can or wants to drive. Make it more attractive by running connecting shuttles to airports

This is a lifeline to get to our major hospitals

One of the most beautiful train journeys in Europe, would be madness to get rid of it. How are hiking travellers supposed to get from Rosslare to anywhere useful without this train too?

the people of wexford need this service .

Integrated transport for travellers is essential so the trains from Rosslare ferryport should be timed to meet the ferry times. Its embarassing that overseas travellers cannot get from Rosslare on public transport. Were the train times deliberately changed to reduce use to strengthen the argument for closure??

A bad decision to end this service.

I visit Arklow each year and have travelled many times by train. It's infinitely more comfortable than the bus but the frequency of the trains is laughable. All the same I do not want to see the service cut. Rather it should be improved.
