We the membership of WRR want the WRR Board Of Directors to take their responsibility to protect WRR funds seriously. We want the board of directors to cancel plans to pay an employee for 3 month at the intake center starting in May. The thousands of dollars this will cost needs to be kept safe and not squandered in such a manner. The paid employee will only be working with songbirds and not any of the other animals WRR takes care of. No other team has a paid employee and the song bird team should not be the exception. With Dr. Lund only being able to donate 2 hrs a week to us our vet bills will be very high this year and we need those funds for the animals. We do not need a paid staff at the intake center.
