Do Not Raise My Motorcycle A new law will be issued for North Carolina inspection stations. It will affect anyone who drives a motorcycle. The law will enforce all motorcycles to be completely lifted from the ground during the NC inspection. All wheels will be lifted from the ground in order to inspect over the motorcycles ‘more thoroughly’. The penalty for breaking this new motorcycle law in NC will result in a felony charge. Help me tell the NC Department of Motor Vehicles NO to this new law. Lifting of motorcycles during inspection could result in damage to the motorcycle bodies by the lifts and an increased possibility of motorcycles being dropped or knocked over during a NC inspection.
