Domestic violence has become a culture in our communities where people accept this bad norm as part of their lives . It is sad that people always find ways to justify why this act of social injustice still exist. And as a community of different voices in the Young leaders against domestic abuse [yalda] we call for the following

1. Identification of other violence in the umbrella of domestic violence such as intimate partner violence ,crime of passion violence and other issues regarding this concept

2. Desmentaling the belive that domestic violence only includes married individuals and understand the broadness of this issue

3. Looking more on other victims that are victims of domestic violence like LGBTIQ and the youth such are some of the group’s that are not recognised when it comes to domestic violence

4. Improve the effectiveness of the systems at hand like the restraining Oder and the domestic violence act to make sure that they are effective in the life’s of the victims.

In regards to some of the issues we have noted above we would like you to help us help generations to come in this calling action against this injustice we would like to challenges you in this petition of support to say No to domestic violence
