We are students attending Gulf University of Science and Technology , trying to open peoples eyes to this issue.
Domestic violence against workers in Kuwait is a very serious matter that needs to be stopped. Thousands of cases are overlooked at here in Kuwait as if it doesn't matter. But it does matter and someone needs to stand up for the workers that have no one to go to and are helpless. Please help raise awareness for this issue to stop.

Reading through your comments reminds me why we cannot ignore the suffering of these workers who have nowhere else to turn. We are currently preparing a formal letter to bring these accounts directly to the attention of those who have the power to protect them.

Seeing this grow makes me feel that these workers are finally being noticed for their humanity. Watching so many people recognize the gravity of their suffering gives me hope that we can change the culture here.

its honestly heartbreaking to see how some people treat their help. humanity comes first before everything else.

People need to remember that these workers have families too. really sad situation.
It's really sad that many workers are treated like slaves here in Kuwait. I recently got to know some workers in some franchise restaurants here work from morning until midnight, and they aren't even being compensated for the over time specially since they're working 3 shifts. It's really sad.
Regardless of the occupation that a person holds, we are all human at the end of day, and should be treated equally.
violence should never be accepted!
