Dear Senator Dole, You recently released an attack ad against your opponent, State Senator Kay Hagan. The ad begins with Hagan being portrayed as a yipping dog. We can only draw one conclusion--that you are calling your opponent a "bitch." This is grossly inappropriate on several levels. It would never be acceptable for a male politician to refer to a female politician in this manner, and it should not be acceptable for a female politician to refer to another female in this manner either. To say this is beneath the dignity of a United States Senator would be an understatement. We, the undersigned, hope you have the decency to pull this ad and apologize to Hagan.
