How much do you love your dog How much would you miss it if it were to be stolen. Should the compulsory registration of ALL dogs be reintroduced in the form of a national dog license. It is our belief that the compulsory registration of all new born dogs in the uk should be registered at birth and microchipped at a suitable age. This process would not only deter those less caring owners who would see the fee and process as too much hassle but would also help the police track down stolen animals. It is also our belief that the police should have the power to stop anyone at will and scan a dog at random in order to prove/disprove ownership of said dog. Dog crime in the UK is one of the fastest growing crimes and steps need to be taken to stop these awful people.
