China's Dog and Cat Fur Trade
Live animals are dropped from the tops of trucks onto the ground, shattering the legs of animals when the cages hit the ground. The cages are the size of a rabbit's enclosure and often five or six full grown dogs as big as German Shepherds are crammed in with no space to move.Cats are held in the same sized containers with maybe twenty or thirty pushing and shoving to try and breathe. Dogs are often bled to death and cats are lassoed and held in the air, still inside their cage with other cats watching them be hanged. Many animals still wear collars, a sign that they were once someones companions, stolen to be made into fur coats. Dog and cat fur is often mislabelled and exported into the United States and Australia to be sold as fur trim in retail stores. If you are buying fur from China, there's no way to tell whose skin you're wearing. Please refuse to buy any real fur, and ask your friends to do the same.
