When I lived in Baton Rouge, my dog, Diesel loved dog parks and he was very social. I've lived in Alexandria for 4 years now, and he doesn't have many opportunities to socialize with other dogs, especially "off leash." I would love for a dog park to open in Alexandria or Pineville.

We don't get to let our dogs and pets run loose like when I was growing up anymore, for obvious reasons. It would be a wonderful thing if this dog park could be implemented into our community. I think it would give the seniors more motivation to get out and socialize. I also believe that it would help people who are hesitant to socialize, and of course let's not forget our best and most loyal companions who will have a chance for more exercise and their own health benefits

This would be great I have two dogs and they love other dogs. This would make Pineville more up-to-date and in line with what other cities have.
