Nakheel confirmed today that the proposal to designate the Zaya Hameni park area for canine use has been formally approved. We are now shifting our focus to monitoring the installation process to ensure the final layout matches our submitted design. The project is officially moving into the development phase.

Dog Park For JVC

Hey all, just wanted to share a bit of prelim good news. We spoke with Nakheel and they seemed excited about the idea to split the two green fields in the park next to Zaya Hameni to be one for dogs (gated for dogs with obstacles) and one for picnics as today both needs are there but not met, with also clear instructions of which is used for what and implications of misuse.
A lot of us want to have a good time for our dogs and for ourselves - sometimes it’ll spare you the walk time by letting them unleashed having fun.
A very good example is Dubai Hills, they have done this quite right! So we will be requesting for something very similar to be created next to Zaya, Of course this will cater for the whole of JVC so it needs to done correctly, that is why we contacted Nakheel who are happy to help if we get enough signatures :)
We will be putting the petition and a small presentation with images forward to Nakheel once we get enough people interested!
What I need from you: SIGNATURES, The more people the stronger the proposal is.

The scale of support reached today confirms that our proposal holds significant weight with the property management firm. I am finalizing the formal slide deck and operational plan to present at our upcoming meeting with Nakheel.

Hello, due to the increasing incidents of the dogs in the parks in jvc, either it should be stopped forcefully for the safety of the kids specially or the authorities should alot separate place for the dogs to avoid such things in future. Regards Atif Mahmood
Desperately need this - moved to jvc as all parks were originally dog friendly and then they changed the rules.
The park would be an amazing addition to JVC but considering the size of it and how many dog owners, having multiple parks is recommended. Right now, dog owners are going to springs and dubai hills and other communities to have a normal activities for their dogs while JVC is suppose to be the friendliest area for having a pet. Thanks
We need 2 saperate parks for small and big dogs just like the one in Dubai Hills for our fur babies in JVC.
A dog park and a family picnic park will keep pet owners n non pet owners and our pets Happy and safe ...Thank you
Please please please make JVC dog friendly. I don’t even own a dog but I love going to the park and playing with dogs.
This is great. But also stop banning dogs i general in all parks.

Dog park increases value of properties.. Many families own pets and primary search for property is where there is dog parks
