The dog park is a source of community and an amazing resource. Providing improvements so that our furry friends can enjoy more would be amazing.

I don’t use the dog park section because my dogs are scared of other dogs, but it is such a great resource to the community and allows those folks whose dogs love the park to use the facility. I am very much in support of this amenity, even as a non-user.

The park is beautiful, but the dog park component needs some attention. I'd take my white dog there more frequently if not for the dust and dirt. Astroturf would be a welcome improvement.

As a neighbor (sans dog) we enjoy seeing dogs enjoy the new dog park near Althea Tanner Park in Eckington, and we would love to see similar amenities in Ledroit Park.

We live in Bloomingdale, but we usually take our dog all the way to Alethia Tanner park in NE, because it has turf to keep our pet clean, exercise equipment to jump on, and a water fountain to keep her hydrated. Hope we can make similar improvements at LeDroit, so that our doggy can hang out with friends closer to home.

Our dog park is beloved by many but could really use some love. Improving the surface would also be great because not the gravel is dusty and leaks out on the grass and sidewalks.
