In my opinion, they rescued an animal that was the victim of extreme negligence, they did not steal it. Just took it out of a potentially dangerous situation. They're heros, not criminals.

They both saw a dog in need and tried saving it. This is no different than trying to save a child or person in need.

Dogs don't have voices we have to be their voice. What she did was correct these are living souls that need to be protected from uncaring people. The dog had burns on it, how could the police officer say the dog was OK? The temperature was below zero who could survive in that bitter cold. Not to mention if a dog is chained up outside and another animal comes in the yard to try to harm it such as coyotes, who run in packs, that dog is nothing more than a sitting duck. Our laws must change to protect these innocent animals.

Someone has to speak for those that have no voice. Dogs should never be chained up outside, serves no purpose. Having a dog chained up outside in extreme temperatures is inhumane. We need to start somewhere and laws for animals need to change..they have rights too.
