On April 3 of 2014 was daughter was bite by a dog. The police department in Mt. Pleasant Iowa told me that based on the picture that it only looked like a scratch. The dog was on a tie out that went past the side walk at the time of the incident. The police visited the house at a later date and said that the chain did not reach the side walk so my daughter would have had to been in the yard and provoked it. To my knowledge tie outs can be move. I have been trying to contact the owner on the most civil manner to get my daughters medical bills paid for she is refusing to give me her homeowners insurance. At first all I wanted was medical bills paid for. Now. I want the dog not to be allowed within city limits. Since she is not a responsible dog owner. Please sign my petition so we have a chance to help other kids. I don't want to see another bite victim.
