Very disappointed in our local officials for the decisions they have been making recently. The situation highlights their inconsistencies. Honestly it is making me regret the decisions I made voting some of them into office. Next election I will not make that mistake again.

I see no reason an individual or business can't do what they wish with their own property. Shouldn't Lillington want the sales tax from the food sales that would otherwise be made elsewhere?

The Town of Lillington is turning this into a popularity contest!! This is a disgrace to our town. Why would they not want to see a business excel by bringing in a truck on their own personal property! JE Wombles is allowed to have a hot dog stand out front daily!! The town doesn’t want to allow the brewery to have food trucks because sit brings competition?! Doesn’t a hot dog stand bring competition when we have 2+ hot dog businesses in lillington?! It’s time we stand up and allow lillington to flourish the way it should have years ago!!
