We should petition to reduce pollution in Long Island City using a alternative energy sources such as solar power. An advantage is that it does not pollute the earth the way other energy sources do, and is non-destructive. Fossil fuel sources are one of the main causes of pollution and global warming but solar power does not harm the environment at all. Mining and burning fossil fuels produces harmful pollution, but deriving power from the sun causes none of these concerns.

SO IMPORTANT. my asthma has been acting up so much more since I moved here. stop the pollution.
LIC is getting way too crowded and the air quality is honestly gross lately. we need solar panels on these new high rises ASAP.
