Large Scale Industrial Development in NW Brockville?
We, the residents below DO NOT WANT the area the City calls the North-West Quadrant to be zoned for Industrial, Transportation Depot, Transportation Terminal, Warehouse, or Asphalt Usage!
How do YOU – as a local resident - feel about large scale industrial or commercial interests coming to the Northwest of Brockville (land bounded by Parkedale Ave., Stewart Blvd, Victoria Road).
Did you know that the City of Brockville is planning to rezone land in this ‘north-west’ area of the City that is adjacent to Brockville residences to INDUSTRIAL to permit LARGE SCALE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT IN YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD??? (entrance to be off STEWART Blvd. onto LAURIER Blvd.)
Rezoning lands to INDUSTRIAL in this area will impact the fabric of Brockville and YOUR neighbourhood. Increased traffic, which will include transports & long combination vehicles (LCV), and the safety of residents is a concern, let alone the environmental issues. Should this rezoning be approved, the possibilities for heavy industrial use in the heart of our neighbourhoods will ALWAYS be a concern.
