Considering the horrible conditions of BHS before Mr. White's tenure as principal and what it was like during said tenure, Mr. White made our school, safer, our students more responsible for their education, and strode for only the ABSOLUTE best out of his students. Keep Hope Alive!

I think that Mr. Mitchem should resign because our students are losing good teachers and now we lost a principal that had a great impact on our school.

Mr. White was willing to put his life on teh line the other day.. yet from what I understand he is not being given the support or resources.. he needs to continue a sfe and hope filled future for our children... Our District is messed up in a lot of ways..

I have worked in the district for 28 years. During that time I worked with 5 different principals. They were all good in their own way; however, I feel Mr. White was the most visible. His visiblity helped to make the school safer, and it created a more positive environment for students and staff. I hope the board changes thier minds and refuses his resignation. It will be a true loss at BHS if they don't.

my freshmen year was complete trash. but when mr.white came it made the environment a Beyer place to learn and grow as a person.

I think Mr. White is the best thing that has happened to Bolingbrook High School, I have had 1 son graduate in 2010 and now have 3 more attending the school and I think he is doing a great job with the academics and not letting the children run the school but by keeping order and rules in place.

To see a fantastic administrator such as Mr. White be forced to "resign" is a travesty of the highest degree. The "resignation" should be the politically motivated Mr. Mitchem. What ridiculous policies this man has. One glaring policy of allowing a student to take a test 3 times. This really prepares someone for the real world. I was just thinking maybe that is how Mr. Mitchem received his degree.

Mr. White has really done a great job at turning the high school around for the good of all of the students. Finding a way to keep Mr. White working for the students, parents, and tax payers of the 365U district should be a top priority for the school board and the Superintendent. Effective leaders are hard to find do not let this one go!
