My 2005 Pathfinder T-Spec is now nothing more than scrap thanks to my rotten chassis. Have had a friend kindly spend his whole day cutting out rust and welding in plates but the rot is bad my local garage refuse to lift the vehicle in order to fit the new clutch kit I've just spent £400 on. Disgusted that a chassis can be so bad after 11 years of NO off-road driving and careful ownership.

My 08 Navara failed catastrophically near the M6 after a trip to the lakes. had to be taken home by the AA at some expense and had to have my chassis plated to fix the problem also at some expense. I will not buy another Nissan.

Disappointed not to have received a notification from Nissan regarding this serious issue. Are they waiting for somebody to die before they warn Navara owners of the danger?

Unacceptable for a "modern" vehicle. Another cut corner (see D22 engine and D40 timing chain, both of which I have experienced and consider safety issues, but neither as serious as this).

So apparently the chassis is not an integral part of the truck, but I'd guess you'd soon notice if it wasn't there. Do a recall and find out how many are affected Nissan. Be responsible.
