Did you know that Americans use more than 100 billion bags a year, which require 12 million barrels of oil to manufacture? A plastic bag can take between 400 to 1,000 years to break down, only to contaminate soil, waterways, and increase climate change.

Only Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle have banned plastic bags. As citizens of Georgia we are concerned about how much plastic we use to never recycle.
