Do Something Drastic, Cut Plastic
Despite the fact that plastic is destroying our planet, only a few states have banned single-use plastic bags. Did you know that Americans use more than 100 billion bags a year, which require 12 million barrels of oil to manufacture? A plastic bag can take between 400 to 1,000 years to break down, only to contaminate soil, waterways, and increase climate change.
Help us make a difference!
Only Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle have banned plastic bags. As citizens of Georgia we are concerned about how much plastic we use to never recycle. Let's work together to make a difference in Georgia. We are asking you to sign in an effort to ban single-use plastic in Georgia.
