Do not take away Parent’s freedom to watch their kid's extra-curricular activities

This is unreal. Let us be responsible parents and wash our hands, wear our masks and be there for our kids!!! Let us choose responsibility.

Let the people decide!!

First of all, I applaud the Governor for understanding how important it is to keep our kids in school. It is vital for the mental health of pur children. Now a3a for spectators at high school sportung events. Please push up the number to 50 spectators per team. The gyms are big enough to follow all other protocols with 50 per team. For the parents of seniors, it's the last year they will see them play. It's the memories of a lifetime they are missing.

This has gone too far.

Kids deserve to play and the parents who have raised them deserve to watch them doing something in a broken world that makes all of them so happy!

Allow more spectators!!

Let us watch our kids play sports!

Let the fans in to support the players. Do not let the fear take away this important time for our players. Let us come watch the games while we take the precautions needed such as social distancing and masks!!! We need this as well as the students!!

Considering the scary depression my very active, “social butterfly” son went through when we had to quarantine and didn’t have any idea when it would end, I feel strongly that life needs to go on as normal as possible. If there are spikes in the virus and hospitals are getting bogged down, I can see a change in procedures for a time. That is a sad reality. There will be more viruses. I believe there is a lot more to come with the things going on in this world. Let’s give our kids all the social interaction we can. Let’s allow for the joy that comes from competing and being cheered on, from the team building that occurs in team sports. Let’s help our kids, the age group who has the least chance of complications with this virus, have a chance to live! Part of that is competing in front of an audience so that it doesn’t just become an exercise class to them. I wish I could speak eloquently. My words my not say the right things but my heart does.

They live together! Let them watch the hard work of their children pay off and the money and programs they have put them through to be successful!

Please let families support their athletes... while social distancing and wearing masks there is no valid reason why we shouldn’t be allowed to do so.

Stop making our kids suffer.

Respect our freedom! Respect our rights!

We, as parents, will continue to fight for the rights of our children to live a life of hope, happiness, socializing, education, and activity over a life of fear. I refuse to live my life making decisions on the 0.04% chance of dying (the approximate chance an American has of dying of covid). And I refuse to miss any moment of my son’s high school life which includes watching, IN PERSON, any athletic event or school activity. People who live in this current covid cult can choose to stay home and stay in quarantine until they come to their senses, or a vaccine is made. We as Idahoans demand this ban on spectators to be lifted. We have had enough of the one-sided statistics you people continue to use to determine mandates. ENOUGH!!!

This entire year has been ridiculous with what our government is doing. Quit thinking you are trying to help people by making them be scared and hide. This entire things is a joke and you all know it but now down to the liberal bull crap. You all better change this or resign. You are going against every oath you took when you where VOTED IN!!!

As a senior this year I think it is not fair for my parents who have been by my side throughout all of my athletic days to not see what could be the last of my basketball career. Let us decide what risks we want to take.

Please stop this! Parents put a lot of money into their student athletes. The gyms are huge and its quite easy to social distance. The kids need their parents in attendance just as much as the parents want and need to be there to support their child. The government is overstepping their rights on us citizens. The kids should play and be in school and parents, at the very least, should be able to attend!!

Let the parents and fans watch and cheer on these young athletes. Youth need as much support as possible. It’s ok to enforce the use of masks and social distancing, as long as we are allowed to watch and support our teams!

When games were limited to parents only the gym seating was still very empty! There is no reason to keep the parents out!!!
