DLNR is ignoring and neglecting their fiduciary responsibility to manage and care for the public lands of Hawai'i Nei. They are charged with harbor and shoreline stewardship for the benefit of current and future Hawaiian citizens. Where in their charter does it say that signing over control of those properties to private corporations for private profits is a benefit to the Hawaiian population? Nowhere. Stop this wholesale privatization of Hawaiian lands. Defeat HB1032 & SB1257. Support your constituency. DO NOT ABANDON US.

I oppose SB 1257 and HB 1032 and any other bills seeking to undermind the native people of Hawai’i by secretly selling and leasing public lands for private ownership.

Leasing our land for profit will deprive our children of their cultural rights yet again. Take a lesson from our ancestors and practice
