Where's the proof that the game may be shut down?

Playdom is shutting down another game on us after less than a year of play. Those who coined stand to lose thousands of dollars with nothing to show for it. Those that did not coin worked hard to get to where they are and all have put their heart and soul into this game, made new friends, and had an escape from the trials of everyday life. Are we going to let Playdom get away with this yet again? Does anyone know an attorney that would be willing to start a class action suit against Playdom for fraud (including such things as offering 2 Gorgons and 3,500 gold for $400 dollars a couple of weeks ago, knowing that they were going to shut the game down)? At the very least does anyone know how to start an online petition to try to convince Playdom to leave a skeleton crew just to maintain the game the way it is (less the new option of being able to research all the Event prize hulls and cannons, etc, that they just added - which will create a cluster-F free-for-all out of the last month of play)? We need to band together on this one to prevent Playdom from continuing to do this to us time and time again. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I love this game, and the friends ive met and the entertainment that it provides. Please don't shut it down.

This is just NOT RIGHT! Instead of developing more and new games why not put that energy into improving an already existing and great game with a dedicated fan base? I'm not interested in playing your Avenger game and in act I won't play any of your games in the future if this is what you do... glad I didn't spend a lot of $$$ like some people, that you are just going to keep eh? Not right is putting it mildly.

dont shut the game down close the hacks and cheaters down instead i been playing this game non stop for over 9 months straight and some nights i even spend 24 to 48 hours straight i even give up sex for this game now dont shut it down please i beg you otherwise i will have to spent time with the missus instead of my mates and my farms now please listen to the people that have spent money on here real life money to build there base and fleets to where they are i love to fight so i will fight to keep this game alive

they did it when i had a playdom account the not a pirate game like this and ive treid them all i am from the black sails alliance so ans black sailpotc wpa world pirate asosasation we are a large alliance ive made a lot off friends through playing this game now get rid off the hackers not the guys who play straight spend cash to upgrade there bases ive been playing for 12 months straight every day u taking my enjoyment away

im always looking for a good pirate game and when i found this game it was what i wanted to play for some time. i have even managed to get my friend to play and we both love the game. if the game goes down we wont have another traditional pirate game to play. so basicly please dont shut this great game down i will end up losing alot of friends i made along the way

heey i am from the Hated alliance and.. i play everyday pirates of the caribbean. it have become a hobbie to alot of us just playing the game. closing it down would be like if there was no more FIFA world cups or tour de France.. i hope Disney can see how much its already mean to us.. im sure that if it has something to do whit loses of money on the game but i guess everyone who have played this game would even pay a fee just to make this play going.. i hope I/We can made up your mind in cancelling the game. we even can take over the game from you ? there is alot of solutions that can be reached insted of just closing it down.

POC is a great game full of strategy and teamwork. Please don't remove this game. I have stopped playing all other games but this one. I speak for the IAC5 alliance and other IAC's that we will greatly miss this game. It saddens me that removing this game was even thought of, please don't make it a reality.
