they have a new principle this year and the children are very unhappy with what she is doing.. when the kids have awards she rushes everyone out at the end we have no time to take pictures with our children.... At Christmas time the kids had a 30 min party two days before the winter break i had gone into the school to give the teachers there gifts and there was not one happy face in there... the Hat tree was taken down that tree was for children who can't afford hat and gloves not to say merry Christmas.. she stopped letting the kids have dances.. Valentines day we got a letter stating there will be no party but we can give valentines... she clams it's because of funding.. but the funding is going to her trying to buy the teachers with lunch time stuff like cold stone ice cream bar KFC, cake, cupcakes and the list goes on that is put in the cafeteria right in our kids face!!!!now i am all for celebrating teachers and the hard work they do they do deserve it but why rub our kids noes in it!! there is space in the office for things like that!! i know some parents kids cry because it is not fair.. the kids are sad and it hurts me to see it.. this year my son has come home upset depressed he hates school now ... he gets bullied and she don't do anything.. i go in there and this woman looks down her noes at me like she is better than everyone!!! i am a house wife who needs something to get done because i'm about to change there school and i don't want to do it but this woman is leaving me no choice!!! Please help me let the board know all about your story also!!! Several dozen children, mostly fifth-graders, did not wear their uniforms to school on the last day because they thought they could wear traditional clothes. Not wearing a uniform on the last day was a tradition in previous years for the school's oldest students. Holland ordered the children to walk on a dirt track until they brought their children a change of clothes or took them home. The children weren't allowed to eat breakfast at the school and that teachers were ordered not to give them any water while they walked. They said 10 to 20 children were still walking more than two hours later when school system officials were told what was happening and ordered it to be stopped. This woman needs to be stopped!!!! thank you for your time and concern!!! we need to do this for the sake of our children!
