Why name it after someone who came here once he has nothing to do with limerick JP has and so has any other person living in limerick , it's a joke more money spent on a vote instead of giving it to them that need it

I respect JFK and think he should be highlighted for his Irish connection and as an Irish descendant we should all be proud of what he achieved as president, saying that I really thing JP should have more recognition for what he has done and continues to do for our city county and country.

Either leave it as the Shannon Bridge or rename it the Brian Boru Bridge - after all Cork has one! Yet Limerick has more right to the Boru name!
