Do not rename things. Build something new and name it if you must. Would we rename the Washington Monument? I pray not.

Harry Reid is a "rich", unpopular, mealy-mouthed, useless ex-Senator who has padded his pockets for years at taxpayer expense. I would be ashamed to call McCarran International Airport by his name. Reid was a disgrace to the people of Nevada when he was a Senator. Oh, that's right, he said, when asked about his fortune that he "made some good investments". Let him enjoy spending the millions that he bilked from people and just enjoy his remaining days in hibernation.

Say no to Harry Reid. Plenty of honors exist for him already. Many more will follow after his death. Mccarran was named to honor someone already. If changed then name it after our fallen Nevadan Medal of Honor recipients or a great humanitarian like jerry Lewis, bob hope, or perhaps Las Vegas international airport with terminals/concourses named after people of honor.

Name it after Brian Sandoval, Kenny Guinn or Richard Bryant. Reid was and is a polarizing figure.

I was a legal resident of Nevada for 20 years, and a physical resident of Nevada for over 5 years during my 30-year military career. It is my strong opinion that Harry Reid was a primary contributor to the toxic political climate in the US today. His does not deserve to be the first name people see when the arrive by air in Las Vegas.

Harry Reid left a bad taste in the mouths of many Nevadans. Renaming McCarran Airport after Reid is another slap in the face. If Sisolak wants to make an early statement then release the drug money to our schools NOW. Bet he can't do that. Still ALL words not sale. Oh well.
Do not rename McCarran International Airport.
