I agree with all 4 principal reasons stated and any are more acceptable than the sinister Reid. I almost would prefer not to fly in/out of Vegas simply for the name.

Please do not let the airport be renamed after this person (Reid). No one remembers any negative connotations about McCarran so why rename the airport after someone that currently invokes negative feelings/responses?

I oppose changing the name of McCarran International to Harry Reid International. Leave the name alone!

I do not believe we should name any airport after a politician, particularly one who is still living. Also, Harry Reid was not a likeable person in general

Harry Reid does NOT represent me. His tactics were despicable and and divisive. His name should NOT be the first thing every single visitor sees as they land!

Harry Reid is an asswipe! Do NOT re-name your airport in his honor-because he has NO HONOR! I’m sick of libtards trying to destroy everything in this country! Even the name of a well established airport is up for grabs to Demoncraps! Sickos!

Senator Patrick McCarran was, in many ways, the father of advanced aviation in Nevada. Without his vision, southern Nevada would not enjoy the growth and economic development we benefit from to this day. McCarran International Airport exists because of Pat McCarran’s drive and vision. It is a name recognized world wide. The proposed name change is little more than political posturing. No building, structure, park, or facility, built in whole or in part with taxpayer dollars, should bear the name of any living person. The name of our airport should not be changed.

Harry Reid doesn’t deserve it. The name is part of Vegas history and should remain so. They can name something else after Harry. Perhaps they can change the name of Searchlight after him. FYI, I am a former Vegas resident.

There is no valid reason to use taxpayers' money (nor ANY money) to rename McCarron airport. If Sisolak wants to honor Reid, name a street, building, or something that is a new build. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."
