Live traps are a more humane way of dealing with this issue. Maiming and killing fox and other animals randomly is not the answer.

Please do NOT do this. You are going to be killing animals! I saw information about rabies pellets for animals to avoid killing.
If you start here- who is to say where you will stop. What next, pitbulls? Dobermans? Cats?
I volunteered at Paw in the Door in Bath to save and re-home neglected cats. Not trap and kill defenseless animals trying to survive as best as they can from us cutting down their homes and taking away their safe havens so they have to interface with humans. Think of all of the litters of babies you will be taking parents from!!! Foxes, skunks, cats, possibly opossums, squirrels.
Please DO NOT DO THIS.

This is so bad for Bath. You are going to kill your town’s economy with the animals, no one will support your town. Horrible decision. Reconsider please.

Why is indiscriminate killing so often the default response? Certainly we're smarter and better than that.

Please do not trap these foxes. Trapping is cruel and inhumane.

You can't upset the ecosystem for a few infected animals. There must be a better way!

Killing fox indiscriminately, is not the way to handle the situation. Using the wildlife rabies vaccine is better for the ecosystem . If you remove the fox then you have more rats, squirrels, mice etc that are in their food chain that will spread other conditions. It also opens up a greater chance of coyotes to move in

How can the official resolution be extreme cruelty in a community so rooted in kindness? We can do better.

This is an archaic way of managing wildlife that will likely cause more problems than it solves. There are more effective and humane methods to address this problem. City of Bath, please do the right thing. Implement an up-to-date, scientifically validated method to manage the situation rather than serve as an example of what not to do.

There needs to be a better way, than killing healthy animals.
