This petition is to preserve one of the last standing Mission Beach craftsman homes. The residence of 833 and 835 Jamaica Ct. was built in 1926 and subdivided/developed by the famous John D. Spreckels in 1914. It was recently sold to a developer who only seeks to demolish it then rebuild a property as big as city permits allow and then sell for as big of a profit as possible.
