We understand the government needs to take unpalatable decisions to save money, however closing Gilbert would result in a terrible loss to our local children and our local community. It truly is a wonderful school with an amazing community spirit and the children thrive here with their peers from all segments of the Paget community! Please consider very carefully the loss to the our community by closing it down! Such loss would be considerable and would impact strongly on the fabric of our community and the wellbeing of our local children! Thank you.

We love Gilbert. My grandmother went there and now her great grandson, my son goes to Gilbert. Please keep Gilbert open!!!

I am a 2003 graduate of Gilbert and I'd be greatly disappointed if my primary school alma mater closed down. Gilbert was a wonderful learning institution and I especially loved my all of my teachers.

Please don't close my school! It gave me the best years of my life and my education received there changed my life and set me further ahead! It's starts young and they knew that therfore the children there are given the necessities from young. I beg you to save it.

My entire family went to Gilbert Institute.. It's one of the best primary schools and safest and should not be closed down!

Gilbert Institute is a good school and it's parents,teachers and children are like a close knit family. My daughter loves the school and her teachers. I think that closing Gilbert will greatly affect each child there in a significant way meaning their development. Yes children are adaptable but taking them away and putting them in another school so suddenly will have a very negative impact on them and their development. Keep Gilbert Institute open for their sake. Our children shouldn't have to suffer at this expense and go amongst the lost and misguided.
