It is ridiculous to close down the Anaconda Job Corps. It is a very successful program and provides a ton of support ot our community. It has worked out great under the guidance of the forest service and does not need to be privatized.

The closure of the Job corp center in Anaconda will have a serious affect on not only the students who are there, but also on our small town who depends on them. Their service to our small community cannot be measured. Also the number of employees that will be affected and their families will be devastating. Please reconsider this decision. We need young people being trained for the important jobs that are necessary to keep our country operational. Without this valuable training many projects will be left unfinished because we lack the workforce to complete the job. Our Center offers this important training so please don’t deny these young people an opportunity to learn a necessary skill. Thank you.

This is one of the largest employers of Anaconda residents. Anaconda just can't survive without Job Corp employment and their students assistance on town and county projects.
