Reverse the decision to close the Anaconda Job Corps Center

Please keep this program. It does such wonderful things for the community!

Dont close this valuable asset to our community and our kids in the state!

I can’t believe closing job corps would even be an option for our country. We need to reverse this tax cut the ultra rich were given by this administration. This country has allowed them to become as rich as they are they need to help us keep this country great! Their tax cuts hurt these and other programs that help regular Americans., I know many people who wouldn’t even have their high school diploma if it weren’t for the job corps. And the trades it teaches our young people so they can become a taxpayer if our nation. And the work they do in our communities is priceless. Just this weekend I enjoyed bridges they helped build. Why are we trying to kill everything good thus country offers for those less fortunate? It saddens my heart

Job Corps is a great program that has helped so many in our communities. We need to keep this around.

Anaconda Job Corps needs to remain open! It gives young adults who were unable to graduate a chance at having a future learning a trade that will allow them to have a good paying job afterwards. The students also do so much work for the community of Anaconda. The community will be deeply impacted if the doors do close. Many jobs lost for the employees as well who love the job they have. Anaconda Job Corps is an overall asset to everyone involved & needs to remain open!

The Anaconda Job Corp has and continues to be a valuable asset to Anaconda and our state of Montana!!

Keep Anaconda Job Corp.

This program has transformed a lot of lost souls into productive young adults. As a MEDL on wildfire assignments, I’ve worked alongside many camp crews. These young crews work hard, respect others and have amazing leadership. In many cases, this is a last opportunity for these kids; to take it away is unacceptable. Please reverse this decision and re-instate those JobCorp programs.

This program has done more to give the students a chance for a better life than anything else. It provides solid training in much needed skills and opportunities they probably would never have otherwise. They learn not only a trade but also can complete their GED and get a drivers license. Our community is improved when the students work on projects that give them real life experience. Society improves with addition of a skilled person to the workforce. The decision to close a “Top 10” Job Corps program seems short sighted at best. The Anaconda Job Corps should be used as a template for opening more programs to give disadvantaged kids a real shot at a successful career and life!

My son attended AJC and it would be an incredible disappointment to see it shut down as it’s an amazing place with lots of career opportunities for struggling youth!

This terrible decision affects the students first and foremost, the staff, and the communities the students live in and come from. Please reconsider closing the Anaconda Job Corp Center.

Keep the center open. It helps fill necessary trade jobs and helps those who may go down a dark path get trained in a trade they can use to gain employment and be productive citizens.

We need the Job Corp. To stay open it is a big access to our State and such a great program for the folks who participate in the program not to mention all the folks who would be out of a job. Please don't close down our Job Corp.

This program benefits not only the youth who may not have very many good options, but also the communities of Butte and Anaconda by providing jobs and skilled employees for local companies. Please don't shut this down!

I'm a successful graduate of anaconda job corps and I would hate to see this opportunity lost to others.

Anaconda Job Corp is very much needed for kids/young adults. I wish people would think before they try to close these learning facilities..
