Reverse the decision to close the Anaconda Job Corps Center

I graduated from the anaconda job corps in 2013, at the time I was a homeless strung out troubled young adult. Since my training at job corps my life has done a complete 180. The staff there taught me everything I needed to know to succeed I now own my own construction company thanks to what I learned at the anaconda job corps. I hope that more young adults will still be able to take the opportunity in the future.

Why would you even consider closing a program that is vital to the work force. This program teaches trades that we can't find people with the skills. It provides a opportunity for many that have no opportunity to go to college. Do your homework look at the numbers and the success stories. Please keep the anaconda job core

Would be a travesty to close something so beneficial to so many. We probably all as a community, or have family or friends who have had their lives positively impacted by the life skills, various vocational employment. And what about the staff, who dedicated themselves to their jobs? Don’t let this happen, remember it’s the voters who put these decision makers in office, it’s the voters who can take them out!!

This Job Corps center has done so much for so many young adults, without it who knows where they would be today. I believe its crucial to keep Anocondas Job Corps center alive and well.

I went to Anaconda Job Corps and I learned a lot I really think it's a good trade and I think they need to keep this open I don't think it's worth closing

Leave anaconda job Corp open it is a very good program and has helped on many projects in the city

My son attended the Anachonda Job Corps and graduated from there in the field of masonry. Through theAnachonda Job Corps my son thrived and found direction, purpsose and a sense of community. He learned what it was like to be a part of something bigger than himself when he went to help on the fire crews during the summer. The staff of the Anachonda Job Corps helped him to grow and mature into a more capable young man and I am so proud of the accomplisments he has achieved and the man he has become for having gone through the Anachonda Job Corps. Please reconsider closing this job corps as it would be extremely detrimental to the future enrollees, their families, the community of Anachonda and the community at large when they lose a great school, employees their jobs and Montana/other regions their fire crew. Thank you.

DO NOT CLOSE THIS CENTER! This is vital to youth in our area! My son went there not once but TWICE! He had to leave early the first time due to family health emergency. When he reapplied several years later, he was accepted and graduated third in his class with honors. His take away knowledge has been a foundation for him to move forward in life. To close this center will destroy our youths ability to gain an education, training in a field of their choice, and the ability to gain social skill. Not ALL youth are able to attend traditional high school. A round peg doesnt fit in a square hole.

Please do not close our Job Corps. It has done so much for the kids going there along with what they do for our community. More loss of jobs.

Why close down a completely successful program? A lot of my company’s best welders came from this program

This program is good for the community and good for the state.

This center has given so many kids and young adults a second chance. Please don't close Anaconda!!
